Things That I Bought

The first item on my list is a PlayStation 4. I don't really need to say much about this item, and aside from the network problems that Sony has been having, this is one beautiful gaming system.

The next thing on my list was The War of The Worlds. I bought this book solely off of Mturk funds. That's why it made my list. It was one my first experiences ordering from Amazon and I am extremely satisfied with my purchase and how fast the book was delivered. If you liked the Tom Cruise movie then you will love this book

Being a comic book nerd that I am the next to blu rays are my favorite from this year. I'm talking about X-Men Days of Future Past and Marvel's Guardians of the Galaxy. I think they are must see movies.

The next thing is a wallet case for I phone 5s. I was constantly losing my wallet or my phone until I bought this. This has been a real life saver. I suggest, if you have a short term memory like me and always lose your phone or wallet, that you buy one of these bad boys.

2014

2014

I would rate this year an 8.5 out of 10. Which isn’t too bad. Just like every year this year has had its ups and it downs. First the downs the hardest thing this year was definitely my girlfriend losing her father. Even thought it was harder on her than it was me. It just hurt to see the one I love that sad and depressed. I think that kind of pain never really goes away but you just learn to live with it. It made me think about the relationship with my father and it put me in a little funk for a while.

After quitting my job at McDonalds at the end of 2013 I found it really difficult to find a job. I didn’t have too many interviews. 3 to be exact. One at a community clinic, one at cruz thru car wash, and one at Buckle at the mall. Needless to say none of those places hired me. But its ok I have a good job now. Not having money kind of sucked. But that’s when I decided that as soon as I got a job I would never stop making money again and that’s where we get to the positive parts of 2013.

In February 2014 I began attending The University of Antelope Valley. I decided to enroll in Business Management and if I stay on track I will have my Associates degree in May 2014. I really enjoyed taking the gen. ed class. Sociology and Psychology were my absolute favorite. I really enjoyed Public Speaking as well, and I thought I was going to hate it. I learned and relearned a lot of things and concepts and I can definitely say that I took a lot of good things from my education.

In August of 2014 I got a part time job at The Home Depot. This job has been really good to me. In a way it slowly but surely helped me regain my confidence and people skills. It also made me feel proud of myself for a getting a job at a good company. It also helps put bread on the table and that’s not bad either. I see this job as a kind of stepping stone for further success. I am forever grateful for this job.

I finally got my medical card in September and it’s AWESOME. Going into a shop and buying marijuana legally is just a great feeling. The variety of buds and the edibles are amazing. I also tried moon rocks and dabs for the first time this year. They both knock me on my ass.

Nova. We got a puppy and she was a real blessing, I think she helped my girlfriend cope with the loss of her father. Having a puppy in the house was a joy to everyone. That infant like charisma and curiosity spread joy through everyone in the house. She gave us all a reason to love again, and that was enough for me to give her a place in my heart. 2015

In 2015 I want to make the most money I’ve ever made. I am motivated more than ever. My goal is in between 30k to 100k. I think it’s achievable. I have no idea how I am going to do but I am going to do. I want to get my associates degree and get my own place. I also want to get a new car, but first I need to pay some tickets and fix my credit. This is going to be my year I just know it.

Christmas

So I am a little bit late but I hope everybody had a great Christmas or any holiday you celebrate. To each his own or her own. I had a nice quiet one. I bought my mom and indoor greenhouse. I bought my brother a nice DC comics Robin hoodie. I bought my girlfriend the hunger games book box set, and a new water pipe. (Ok I bought her a bong). We had some modelos and tamales all in all it was a goodnight, unfortunately but also fortunately I had to go to work the next day but at least I have a job.

Six Flags Magic Mountain.

My mother got me a brown heavy jacket that I’m thankful for especially on this cold Tuesday in Southern California. My brother’s present was a little bit more exciting. He bought my girlfriend and I season passes to Six Flags Magic Mountain in Valencia, CA. When we went on the 28th of December. We thought to ourselves that because it was cold and on a Sunday the park would be slow and not too packed. Boy were we wrong. In 8hrs we manager to go one five rides. Revolution, The Buccaneer, The Flash, X-2 and Goliath. The last two I listed were worth the 2 hour wait in line. Next time our plan is too go on a weekday when people work and all those teenagers are in school. I did however win this really neat “Flash” cape which I posted to my Instagram. @Danimal_19

PlayStation 4

This was the first year I went all out and bought myself something. It had to be the PlayStation 4 I couldn’t wait to go my gaming on. It was a crazy year and this was in a way a reward to myself for making it out alive. I bought two controllers, Injustice, and the system bundle that came with a voucher for a free game download. You got to choose one game out of 4. The game I was really excited to play was Little Big Planet 3.Little Big Planet 3 Plush Edition - PlayStation 4

To my disappointment, the PlayStation network and store was down, and stayed down for almost 3 whole days after I bought the system the day after Christmas. I got a couple of scares when trying to enter the redeem code for the game. It kept giving me an “error this code is incorrect or may be invalid” message. Now however, the system and the network is working like a charm and I’m slowly becoming the gamer I used to be. Haha.

Amazon Affiliates

So my search to make a little extra money continues. Mturk became too much of a chore for me. And Adsense still has not approved my blog. I am working on create more content and gathering more of a following. That is why I created a twitter, and hopefully some of you that are following me on twitter are on this page now. If not give me a thumbs up and I’ll give you a shoutout.

My searches led me to Amazon associates. So I’m giving that a try. I’ll try to post a couple of items that I’d personally buy. Amazon has treated me good when I’ve ordered through. And Mturk has also paid me on time so I’m really hopeful that amazon is the way to go.

It's Friday

Work and Christmas Trees

Today I worked an 8 hour shift at The Home Depot. A company that I actually like, and unlike any other retail stores it’s not a complete nightmare especially right before Christmas. I love working in the Christmas tree lot. People are so pleasant and that feels quite refreshing. Because when I was working at Ross Dress for Less people were definitely not as nice and nowhere near as patient and understand as the people buying a Christmas tree. I have learned a lot about the different kinds of Christmas trees such as the Douglas, the nobles, the Nordmans, and the Fraziers. Today was slow but I’m grateful for it.

Modelos, Wing stop and Christmas Cookies

After work my girlfriend picked me up and told me about her day, then we decided to hit up our local Wingstop down the street. This occurred after our daily bowl of course. ; ). I got original hot, I’m not too big on spicy things (I know that’s a crime because I am Hispanic) but wing stop wings are nowhere as spicy as Buffalo Wild Wings. On the way to wingstop I was craving some beer, I been in a drinking mood lately maybe I am suffering from s.a.d. Anywho I first tried Modelo beer at our school pub with a class mate and I really enjoyed how smooth it was and how great the taste was. So I think Modelos are going to be my go to drink for a while. Sorry amf and Newcastle. The best thing about the holidays I think are all the sweets, like cookies and cupcakes. So while buying beer at Staterbros I had to indulge in those wonderful Christmas delights.

Apartment Hunting


I am currently in the process of trying to move out of my mother’s house again. Financially things will be tight. I will have enough to survive but with limited wiggle room. However I am really excited to get back up on me. It’s been a crazy transition period after hitting my personal rock bottom. For the last year and half things have been going great and life keeps on getting better. An apartment or house will be my goal for this year, along with fixing my credit and paying off some tickets. We are just running into some issues, especially getting 5 people to agree on a certain place to live within a certain budget. I take every road block as a sign and I know that when it’s supposed to happen it will. And I will stick to that mentality for the time being.

So I thought for sure that Adsense was going to approve me this time, but they still haven’t. But don’t worry they will. I researched tips on how to increase the likelihood of getting accepted by Adsense, and I learned it’s about how much and how long the content is. It suggest to type at least 500 word posts. So total word count on is 507. 

So I was off work today, and I'm still on a mission to make the most money of my life. That shouldn't be too hard considering the most I've ever made was 15k. So by the time 2016 rolls by I want at least 20-30k. I work full time at the home depot and that accounts for about 10k. So I been looking into ways to make money online during my "free time". Adsense denied my request but I shall try again. Mturk capped me out at 100 hits and 5 dollars. So I started a fund raiser to see how well that works. It's a fund raiser for a PS4. Ferguson Riots

The saddest thing about society is that racism still exists after so many years.This whole Ferguson thing shouldn't be about racism at all, and if that's what it is to you than you are part of the problem. This is about police officers abusing their power and killing people that could have simply been arrested. Police brutality is happening everywhere and there is YouTube videos to prove that. However not all police officers are corrupt, they are humans like the rest of us, there is bad ones and really good ones . With that being said, violent protests and riots are not the right approach either, in order to take down an infrastructure we need to learn from the protests in Egypt (and many others) that took place a few years back.

Mturk and the last couple of days.

Well, I haven't kept up with my promise of writing everyday. It's not like I have been busy, I guess I just wasn't motivated enough to write to couple of sentences. The last few days I have been looking up new ways to increase my income, and I stumbled upon Amazon's Mturk. It's a site where they pay people pennies to complete tedious tasks that no one really wants to do. For example taking information from receipts and endless surveys. I made 16 dollars so far. It's easy (considering I made in between work, school, and my social life) but the process takes too long, I'm sure there is other ways to increase my income from the comfort of my own home, like writing a blog maybe :). With that being said, I need to increase my following and I want to prove that anyone can make a living online.

26 years young

               I turned 26 today. A bittersweet feeling. I feel like there is soo much more I could've done by now. However I am working part time at about minimum wage, and currently going to school. In school I am currently pursuing an associates degree in Business Management. My goal in life is to make enough money to be comfortable and hopefully enough money to be generous and give back to people who have helped me and the ones who are in need.
              I plan to write a post everyday this year and write about my journey. My goal this year is to move out of my moms house, take care of some legal problems that I feel have held me back, finish school, and make the most money I have ever made. I am also seeking enlightenment and greater knowledge. I don't know where to start, but until I figure it out I can write.
